Vyapam scam: CBI raided 40 places in Madhya Pradesh, UP

Central Bureau of Investigation has raided around 40 locations in Madhya Pradesh in connection with the investigation into Vyapam Scam including the premises that belonged to former technical education minister Laxmikant Sharma. This is first major step taken by CBI after the Vyapam Scam was taken over by CBI two months ago. It is reported that the raids have been carried out at 40 locations in  Bhopal, Rewa, Jabalpur, Indore Madhya Pradesh and Lucknow and Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh simultaneously.
